Role Summary This is a newly created, permanent role based at Freightways head office in Penrose. Reporting to the GM Mail and Network, the Procurement Manager will establish the Group’s procurement function from scratch, across a significant portfolio of spend spanning NZ and Australian entities. It is a rare greenfield opportunity at a meaningful scale, backed by executive sponsorship and a clear commercial mandate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a fit-for-purpose procurement operating model and governance framework across the Group
• Develop procurement policies, delegation of financial authority frameworks, and category strategies
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across priority spend categories, including fuel, forklifts, refrigeration, aviation, health and safety, and operational expenditure
