Job Description

Duties

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement group-wide procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance (SLAs), and conducting annual reviews.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyse spend patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and consolidation across business entities.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the tender process, including RFP/RFQ preparation, supplier evaluation, and contract award.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate supply chain disruptions through risk assessment, continuity planning, and vendor auditing.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the procurement team, setting KPIs for performance and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislation.
