The Production Chef works as part of a team to produce high quality food items according to approved specification/recipes. The work is done in compliance with all food safety (including HACCP), quality and safety guidelines, regulations and company policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To work in the kitchen area cooking, preparing and assembling food
- Follows recipes; prepares and cooks products to specification and ensures quality of products is maintained at all times in accordance with customer expectations
- To maintain awareness of department and possess knowledge of customer products and requirements
- Ensure all special meal requirements are strictly adhered to (including Halal standards and allergen management)
