Central 1 seeks a Production Database Administrator to manage SQL Server systems and ensure high availability. This 6-month hybrid role will challenge you with complex database operations.
You will be an integral part of Central 1's Data Engineering team, handling Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and participating in its upgrade to 2025. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including performance tuning, backup management, and production support during a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer SQL Server environments and manage RTO/RPO requirements
• Design and implement high-availability solutions for critical systems
• Proactively tune database performance and resolve issues
• Support each database workload migration to Azure services
• Maintain and update technical documentation for database practices
