The Opportunity To supervise production lines and subordinates under his charge and ensure the smooth and efficient production of quality products. To assist Production Manager in recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of work.
Responsibilities - Planning and co-ordinating the workflow on the production lines to achieve production targets according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Drawing up duty roster for operatives allocating work (ensure proper delegation in quality, process & maintenance, coordination and logistics), and authorising overtime.
- Trouble shooting productions problems that may arise and assisting the Production Manager in planning new project work such as positioning of new production lines or machinery.
