Position Function

Reporting to the Production Manager, the individual will be responsible to supervise one of the Production areas of Caldic’s Mississauga facility.

Scope

The Production Supervisor will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of their designated production area. They will collaborate with the P&C, HSE, and Quality teams to ensure the production area is meeting the expectations of our customers and all internal stakeholders in a secure and high quality manner.

Major Tasks and Duties

• Work with P&C to maintain adequate staffing levels in support of the business and budget.
• Reconcile Time & Attendance for the production team (and temporary employees). Manage vacation requests.
• Ensure compliance with all Quality and Safety programs. Communicate feedback from the production teams.
• Work with the Maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
