About the Position:

The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire a Program Administrator in the Director’s Office of our Bureau of Field Operations (BFO), located in Salem, Virginia. The job duties for this position include but are not limited to:
• Managing and advancing the daily and long-term objectives and outreach of the Youth of Virginia Speak Out About Traffic Safety (YOVASO) program.
• Supervising salaried and wage staff in the development, creation, and implementation of all YOVASO youth activities, projects, training opportunities, and external communications.
• Identifying strategies and providing guidance to staff in developing and implementing appropriate YOVASO projects and materials.
• Ensuring all DMV-established grant deadlines for purchasing and reporting are prioritized and met.
• Coordinating within BFO the implementation of YOVASO programs and services for the Department.
