QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or relevant qualification Min 5 years’ work experience in managing projects within the Automotive sector OEM Min 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment MS Office, with Intermediate excel skills DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for communication between business and the customer regarding project needs e.g.: localisation of products (i.e.: New business, localization, VE/VA etc.) Develop project plan and take responsibility for overall project control (i.e.: in-house re-grinding, Internal localisation, big 4 M changes etc) Manage and develop company project master schedules for new projects. Responsible for cost calculation of new projects, establish feasibility study and make recommendation to MD. Develop BOM, material quantities and complete cost calculation for new parts.
