The Project Engineer will be instrumental in the design and execution of all municipal projects. This position will lead efforts in project management support, parts and components selection and specification review. The position will support project management in a technical role and assist with field service when required.
1. Engineering & Technical Responsibilities - Review and interpret process designs, P&IDs, hydraulic profiles, equipment layouts, and specifications.
- Support process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C engineers during detailed design.
- Perform or coordinate equipment sizing and selection (pumps, membranes, filters, chemical systems).
- Review vendor drawings, data sheets, and calculations for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory standards (EPA, AWWA, NSF, local codes).
