Student advising, workshops, and outreach
Work on-site at partner community colleges (Fullerton College, Irvine Valley College, Orange Coast College) approximately 1.5 days per week (half day at each college), and at CSUF 3.5 days per week. Schedule may vary based on program needs. Provide individual and group advising to current community college and newly admitted and enrolled STEM transfer students at CSUF in multiple modalities (in-person and virtual appointments, email, workshops, presentations). Support academic planning by helping students understand degree requirements, transfer preparation, major/minor pathways, and relevant academic policies. Participate in and support STEM-specific orientation and advising sessions and other transfer transition programming.
