Overview

Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Hazardous Materials and Indoor Environmental Quality team located in Timmins, reporting directly to the Team Leader. This role focuses on indoor air quality, legionella, microbial contamination, infection control, asbestos, and other hazardous materials.

Location: Timmins, ON
Annual Salary: $50,000–$60,000

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments for mould, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances, and other hazardous materials.
• Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site‑specific concerns.
• Perform inspections and evaluate building systems.
• Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke, and fire.
• Assist clients following flood and loss emergencies to get buildings dried, cleaned or remediated and operational.
• Collect a variety of air and bulk samples (mould, asbestos, lead, dust,...
