Role Overview

Registered Psychologist to work between the Diabetes Service and the Intensive Care Unit at Whangarei Hospital.

Purpose of the Role

• Provide professional, client‑centred psychological practice to patients and their whanau/families.
• Liaise with the wider hospital team to meet patient and whanau's needs.
• Be an effective team member.
• Complete and update records and data in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Deliver a proficient and streamlined psychological evaluation and therapy to individuals facing challenges that hinder their capacity to attain optimal functioning and well‑being within the Diabetes Service and Intensive Care Unit.
