Job Description


Robert Half is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and support the accounts payable function during a period of transition.

Cheshire based - hybrid working.



Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Maintaining accurate vendor records and ensuring data integrity
  • Assisting with month-end close processes and reporting
  • Supporting wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
