We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Officer to join our clients growing team based in Berrinba. The position is responsible and accountable for ensuring that all relevant purchasing activities are carried out in a timeous manner.

The position commences in a fulltime casual capacity with a view to permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the timely purchasing of quality parts, at a reasonable cost, required in manufacturing of items in the site’s operation.
• Timeously identify items that requires purchasing to meet manufacturing demand.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Obtaining quotes
• Maintain updated records of purchased products.
