About the Role
As a History Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that develop students’ understanding of key historical events, themes, and interpretations. You will encourage critical thinking, analysis of evidence, and a deeper appreciation of how the past shapes the present.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculumTeach a range of topics such as medieval history, modern world history, and British historySupport GCSE and A-Level History (where applicable)Develop students’ essay writing, source analysis, and evaluation skillsAssess, track, and report on student progressContribute to curriculum development within the Humanities departmentLead or support enrichment activities such as history clubs, trips, or museum visits About You
