Quality Control (QC) Chemist in the oleochemical industry is responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role supports production, R&D, and customer satisfaction through accurate and timely laboratory analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Analyze raw materials (, vegetable oils, fatty acids,) Test intermediate and finished products.Perform routine tests like: Acid Value (AV) ,Saponification Value (SV),Iodine Value (IV) ,Moisture content,Color (Lovibond).,GC (Gas Chromatography) analysisEnsure all products meet internal specifications and customer requirementsApprove or reject batches based on test resultsMaintain COA (Certificate of Analysis) documentationSupport in-process quality checksQualifications
