**Job Description**
The Quality Improvement Research Analyst is responsible for preparing data abstractions and analyses of clinical data; assisting in the design and testing of data collection instruments and assisting in project management and research activities. As a member of the project team, the QI/RA assists in project management and research activities. The Quality Improvement Research Analyst handles the identification, abstraction and analysis of clinical data pertinent to clinical quality improvement projects.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in related science field
+ 3 years in research and/or data analysis or related experience
Non-Bargaining Unit, 862 - Surgery - ISM, Icahn School of Medicine
**Responsibilities**
Data Abstraction: Clinical data abstraction from Medical Records and other sources
+ Maintains study log and case reports
+ Tracking of requests for data sources, i.e. Medical Records.
