The Inspector in the Quality Department performs product assessments and dimensional measurements on components, turbines (steam and gas) and generators.

**Job Description**

+ Participates in safety training and ensures personal safety as well as safety of co-workers
+ Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor and Leadman
+ Performs inspection on steam, gas turbine rotors and stationary components within the factory and on site (if assigned to site work)
+ Performs inspection on generator rotors and components within the factory and on site (if assigned to site work)
+ Participates in work force development to develop skills and abilities
+ Conducts Hardness Testing
+ Performs Visual Inspections
+ Takes dimensional measurements
+ Makes Visual Assessments
+ Uses Quality Inspection measuring tools identified on skills matrix
+ Prepares and tracks NCRs
