Technique is looking for a Quality Technician 1 to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility.

This position reports to the Quality Manager in the Quality department.

The Quality Technician 1 will inspect and measure components and finished products to determine compliance with engineering requirements, create and maintain records, data, and metrics for quality assurance, and assist with dispositioning nonconforming product.

This role also develops procedures and processes for quality system compliance, leads quality and continuous improvement projects, and works with customers and vendors on quality-related issues in coordination with account managers and the purchasing department.

The ideal candidate brings an associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related technical field, with three to five years of hands-on quality control experience in manufacturing or engineering.
