Quantity Surveyor

Our client is currently hiring for the position of Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support in the various aspects of contract management to the Project Manager and key members of the project team to ensure that sound prime contract management and (sub) contract formation/administration principles are applied throughout the contracts work process.

• Participate in project related meetings, work closely with Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Finance.

• Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.

• Conduct as necessary and required, re-measurement activities at project site to obtain data and ascertain accuracy and quantities of work in progress and completed for claims purposes.

• Review contract drafts to ensure they include adequate cost and scope definition and meet Project Controls requirements.
