Job Purpose

This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.



Key Responsibilities



"Provides expertise in designing electro-mechanical systems and fixtures.

oInterprets detailed schematics from R&D engineering staff to fabricate functional boards in digital, analog, and RF domains, and provides design feedback to the engineering staff.

oUtilizes design tools such as SolidWorks and PCB design software (OrCAD, Altium) to develop electronic and mechanical fixtures for engineering evaluation, V&V testing, and production testing.

oSupports IPG prototype device builds for characterization studies and V&V testing.
