Job Description
Job Summary: The Radiologic Assistant-Unlicensed works under direct supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Assists with administrating Roentgen rays to patients following prescribed protocols. Assists with operating all equipment in Diagnostic Radiology and ancillary devices. Prepares the patients, equipment, and supplies prior to exams. Performs other duties as needed
Education and Experience: Completed one year of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program required.
Knowledge and Skills: Has the ability to operate all appropriate radiology equipment under direct supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and co-workers. Ability to communicate effectively about complex matters with others.
