As a Rangatahi/Youth Social Worker , you will walk alongside rangatahi as they navigate life’s challenges, helping them build resilience, confidence, and a sense of hope. You will support them to identify their goals and navigate challenges, taking a holistic approach to connecting them with the right support services, programmes and opportunities. Alongside this, you’ll provide practical and emotional support, while strengthening relationships with whānau and working collaboratively with schools, agencies and community networks.
