Salary Range: $61,189 - $67,446

Full time - 1 year fixed term/secondment role based in Twizel

As a Ranger in the Twizel team, you will help to maintain and improve visitor facilities and protect key heritage sites across the Mackenzie/Waitaki Basin’s and Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.

The position will be focussed on:

  • Maintaining campsites, picnic areas, car parks, toilets, and water systems.
  • Maintaining back country huts, bridges, and other structures.
  • Supporting office tasks like data entry, planning, and coordinating field trips.
  • Assisting the wider teams when required.
