Rating Field Inspector, MI

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for a Rating Field Inspector, MI that will assist us in our mission by performing residential energy inspections, diagnostic testing, and quality assurance verification to support HERS ratings and code compliance. The RFI works closely with builders, contractors, and internal teams to evaluate building performance, identify deficiencies, and ensure homes meet energy efficiency standards.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• RESNET Rating Field Inspector (RFI) certification or ability to obtain

• Experience in residential construction, HVAC, insulation, or energy efficiency

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects

• Proficiency with tablets for field data entry
