Job Description
What a R&D Electrical Engineer Does At HP - Designs portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and specifications.
- Performs test and troubleshooting to debug defective hardware/ electronic units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established testing plans.
- Performs validation of tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power measurements.
- Implements remediations across hardware stack according to plan, while keeping a thorough procedural record and data log.
- Develops and publishes updates on resolutions and communicates findings internally, summarizing all results.
