Responsibilities

• Designing reinforcement structures : Rebar engineers use structural engineering software to analyze and calculate the forces, loads and stresses on reinforced concrete elements. They ensure that the reinforcement design can withstand anticipated loads.
• Determining quantities, sizes, shapes and locations of reinforcing rods : Rebar engineers determine the quantities, sizes, shapes and locations of reinforcing rods.
• Supervising rebar installation and dismantling : Rebar engineers supervise the installation and dismantling of forms and concreting works.
• Conducting site inspections : Rebar engineers conduct regular site inspections.
