Job Description
Position: Reconditioning Technician
Reports to: Service Manager/Director
Recon Technician Purpose: inspect, repair, and prepare pre-owned vehicles for front-line readiness in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle inspections to identify needed mechanical and cosmetic repairsComplete basic maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, batteries, and fluid checksDocument all work performed and communicate needed repairs with service advisors or managementAssist with cosmetic reconditioning including buffing, light interior cleaning, and trim repairsEnsure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before being moved to the front lineMaintain reconditioning logs and meet daily production targetsOperate and move vehicles safely around the dealership and service areasKe...
