Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a casual Recreation Therapist to join our team in Mission, BC.

Responsibilities

• Develops goals and objectives, policies and procedures for the Recreation Therapy program.
• Conducts a standardized individual assessment of each resident and develops an appropriate therapeutic recreation care plan; reassesses as required.
• Utilizes assessments to plan, organize, coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate a wide range of therapeutic recreation and social programs.
• Ensures space, supply and staffing requirements are met for each program; conducts program activities as appropriate.
• Participates in staff selection, orientation and supervision; coordinates work assignments and performance evaluations.
