Responsibilities - Advising and managing legal issues arising in relation to Chubb’s compliance with applicable legislation and regulations in Asia Pacific; customers; business partners and general transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements including confidentiality agreements/NDAs, intercompany agreements, distribution agreements, broker agreements, third party provider agreements and IT agreements.
- Advising and managing local legal counsel in relation to the Legal and Compliance team’s deliverables on regional and global projects.
- Assisting with regular reporting requirements to Global Head Office in the US.
- Selecting, retaining and managing external counsel and their legal fees as required.
Qualifications Qualified lawyer holding a law degree from an accredited university.
Active license to practice law in common law or other Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
