Regional Product Development & Underwriter, Financial Lines

Based in Singapore, reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Lines & Cyber, Asia.

Job Purpose: Underwrite profitable new and renewal Financial Lines business while supporting regional product development initiatives. Includes negotiation of pricing, terms, ownership of accounts and clients, policy wording development, regulatory compliance, and regional/global product governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom-line targets.
• Negotiate participation, pricing and terms with brokers.
• Proactively manage capacity.
• Underwrite in line with LoB governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Guidelines, Rules, Principles).
• Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception.
