About the department

Bassett Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit is a 14-bed critical care unit, supporting the critical care and needs of a network. Being this vital support for our rural community, and a trauma hospital, we utilize advanced treatments that rival large medical centers. We have close interaction with our providers, patients and their families. The fast paced, and innovative nature our patient’s critical care needs drive opportunities for professional growth supported in a supportive and comfortable environment.
