Job Description:

Unit: 5N Postpartum



Floating Required: No

Must have acute care experience.

Must work every other weekend.

Must work every other major vacation.

Flu vaccine required during season.

Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided.

Orientation: Hospital system wide orientation 3 days; 3 days on unit.

On-Call Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover vacant shifts, if needed.



Unit Specifics:

Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage

Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lo...
