This funding will pay for 33 new cancer medicines and 33 new noncancer medicines. Health NZ has also received extra funding to make sure it has the staff and resources needed to provide these medicines, including in community and rural areas. This means we are now growing a new service at Waitematā as part of Regional Oncology
