BACKGROUND

WWF’s Roadmap 2030 – a five-year strategic vision and plan -focuses upon protecting people and nature. Evidence shows that nature custodianship by Indigenous and local peoples is most impactful for preventing environmental degradation, and a pillar of this roadmap commits our global network to strengthening locally led conservation.
