The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, conducts fundamental and applied research on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, climate change, and environmental change in and around Southeast Asia, with the mission of contributing towards safer and more sustainable societies.
The EOS Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) is looking for a Research Assistant to contribute to the development of ground-truth IoT sensing systems to support satellite-based monitoring of water levels, flooding, and other environmental conditions across various landscapes. The role will focus on hardware/IoT development, sensor integration, field testing, data collection, technical documentation, and stakeholder engagement with research and deployment partners. The role supports EOS-RS’s broader mission of translating remote sensing research into practical tools for sustainability, agriculture, and environmental monitoring.
