🥝 Research Associate in Bioelectrochemical Enzyme Mechanism Determination

Role

The project will focus on harnessing our bioelectrochemical toolkit for the deconvolution of enzyme mechanisms. This appointment will suit a person with training in protein production and characterisation, enzyme electrochemistry and data analysis. The positions are full time for up to 12 and 6 months, available from 1st October 2026. Please note that flexible working patterns will be considered. 


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To conduct research under the supervision of Professor Alison Parkin and to contribute to the production of research specifically in the area of harnessing bioelectrochemical methods for mechanistic enzyme studies

  • To assist in the identification and development of potential areas of research and the development of proposals for independent or collaborative research projects

  • To provide guidance to other staff and students, as required, as well as coordinating the work of small research team...
