The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a Project Officer / Research Engineer I to conduct routine cell biology experiments and manage laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities - Support the general organization and operation of the lab.
- Handle procurements and oversee health and safety management matters.
- Work alongside PhD students and postdocs on research projects.
- Conduct experiments independently and analyze experimental data at a high standard.
- Give regular research updates in the form of internal group meetings.
Qualifications - For Project Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
- For Research Engineer I: Diploma in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
- Prior laboratory experience in mammalian cell biology (culturing of cells, transfection, etc.), biochemistry (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting)...
