Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join a project in the Department of Chemistry in the Warwick Electrochemistry and Interfaces Group (WEIG) at the University of Warwick, working under the supervision of Prof. Julie Macpherson and Prof. Patrick Unwin. The fellow will be part of the EPSRC‑funded EXPRESS Programme, which aims to advance the electrochemical growth of functional 1‑D and 2‑D transition‑metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) semiconductors.

Research Responsibilities

In this role you will use high‑resolution electrochemical imaging techniques, focusing on scanning electrochemical cell microscopy (SECCM) and EC‑atomic force microscopy, to elucidate the early‑stage nucleation and growth mechanisms of two‑dimensional TMDCs and metal nanostructures within the broader EPSRC collaboration. You will be expected to remain flexible and interact effectively with colleagues across the EXPRESS consortium to fulfil the scientific goals of...
