Research Fellow position with an interdisciplinary research team led by Dr. Sing Yian Chew (NTU). The successful candidate will contribute to an ongoing research program focused on neural tissue engineering , in vivo spinal cord injury (SCI) models, and regenerative biomaterials .

• Plan and conduct in vivo experiments using rat SCI models
• Conduct microsurgical procedures, cell/scaffold implantation, and animal behavioral or functional evaluations
• Carry out analyses to understand mechanisms of action, e.g., tract tracing, immunofluorescent and histochemical staining, confocal imaging, and RNA‑seq
• Perform data analysis, interpretation of experimental outcomes, and preparation of manuscripts for publication
• Supervise and train junior researchers and contribute to laboratory management
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaborations within and beyond NTU
