As an important member of the Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging Physics and Algorithm team, the Research Scientist will develop innovative physics-based solutions/corrections and support medical imaging platform needs by leading image quality improvements in Computed Tomography (CT).
**Your role:**
+ Uses a system-level engineering approach to develop new medical imaging systems features, optimizing image quality through algorithm design, calibration improvements, and image reconstruction enhancements with a strong emphasis on imaging performance. Drives the successful introduction of new products by creating technical specifications and improving data correction processes.
+ Investigates image quality issues during new feature launches and within the installed product base, identifying root causes and communicating findings to stakeholders. Develops and documents safe, effective solutions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
