Location: Basel, Switzerland – 100% on site.

Position: Research Scientist II or Senior Scientist I – Associate Scientist role focused on genome safety assessment for advanced therapies.

About the Role

The role supports genome safety assessment of gene and cell therapy portfolio, including AAV-based approaches and CAR‑T platforms, and provides cross‑functional contributions to mechanistic safety assessment of additional therapeutic modalities (LMW compounds, xRNA, biologics). The incumbent will conduct in‑vitro studies, generate and analyze data, and contribute to integration site analysis and cell‑based assays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in vitro studies for genotoxicity assessment of gene therapies (AAVs, lentiviruses, etc.).
