Rural Health Network SCNY (RHN)'s mission is to advance the health and well-being of rural people and communities. The RHN VISTA program, Rural Health Service Corps, will seek to eliminate poverty in the proposed service areas, and expects to benefit program participants, community members, and host organizations. Twelve VISTA members total will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as strategic planning, research, grant writing, training, volunteer management, and coalition building over the course of the next year. Member Duties Completing the orientation process, learning about the Council's programs, community partners and how they relate to identified community needs.
