Requirements
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Hospitality or Food Service Management
- 2–3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury or 5 star environment
- Wine certification or strong wine knowledge preferred
- Previous fine dining experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with high end clientele
- Good knowledge of food and wine
- Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Good planning and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and related dining areas
- Ensure guests receive excellent service at all times
- Handle guest queries or complaints in a professional and efficient way
- Work with the Sommelier to maintain and update wine and beverage lists
