Job Description
- Responsible for the proper display, arrangement, replenishment, housekeeping and selling of store merchandise.
- Monitors the inventory of all items handled.Timely conducts physical inventory of items to check for under and/or over stocks.
- Helps the department officers/Branch Head in analyzing suggested quantity of merchandise for reorder.
- Ensures that all items in the selling area have the necessary DTI marks and barcodes for easier POS transactions and customer information.
- Assists customers in determining the preferred purchase as well as explain to them each merchandise features, proper usage and maintenance. Practices suggestive selling to fill in customer’s requirements.
- Conducts product demonstration to customers after payment to check the quality, making sure that it is functioning properly before release to customer.
- Aids in the customer service department in handling return/exchange of merchandise.
