Retinal Screener/Grader

Band 4. Hours per week: Full Time (37.5 hours). Base: Hull Royal Infirmary, Hull.

1 full time post, primarily based in Hull with staff coverage across Hull, East Riding, North and North East Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Grade patient retinal images and support screening clinics.
• Perform Test and Train assessments and keep up to date with the latest pathway changes and national guidance.
• Maintain strict information governance procedures and attention to detail.
• Work under pressure, managing a large workload with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with a small grading team, providing support and feedback.
• Engage patients in a friendly manner, caring for those with mobility or health issues.
• Adjust to potential weekend work as required during service transformations.
