Rework Solder Technician

Location: Batavia, OH

Pay Rate: $19 23/hr

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 3:15 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM 12:00 PM

Position Summary

The Rework Solder Technician is responsible for the repair and rework of SMT and through-hole electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while adhering to applicable industry standards, including IPC-A-610, J-STD, and IPC-7711/7721.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rework and repair of SMT and through-hole components on PCBs.


• Apply basic knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.


• Apply basic knowledge of IPC-7711/7721 repair and rework standards.


• Communicate damaged or scrapped material concerns to the Cell Lead, Production Manager, and Quality Manager.
