Description
In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, infusion therapy and documentation to patients in the Community Oncology Practice. Major functions include: patient assessment, patient evaluation and preparation and administration of chemotherapeutic agents and other intravenous drugs, patient education and psychosocial support.
Salary range: $70.59/hr - $106.80/hr
Qualifications
Required:
+ Knowledge of the Oncology patient population and practice operations
+ Knowledge of all aspects of infusion therapy in an oncology setting
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through for multiple patient treatments on an ongoing basis.
+ Excellent blood withdrawal and IV skills
+ Possession of a BSN or MSN degree
+ Possession of current California RN license
+ Possession of BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
+ Possession of ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification
