Job Summary:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process as ordered by physicians to facilitate the effective delivery of patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess, organize, and carry out patient care with consideration to patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors.


• Assist physicians with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments according to established protocols.


• Administer medications via intramuscular injections and intravenously, including the administration of chemotherapy as directed by physician orders.


• Coordinate patient care through the triage of patient telephone calls regarding urgency of appointments, scheduling, and hospital admissions according to established protocols.
