This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust Safeguarding Children Team in the role of safeguarding liaison practitioner/Nurse.

The role will allow you to develop your skills within the field of safeguarding children, supporting staff and colleagues on the hospital wards and liaising with multi agency partners

The post holder will be supported to develop skills and have opportunity to experience multi agency working.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will play an essential role in working within the safeguarding Children Team, supporting the operational delivery of safeguarding children throughout the Trust.

You will work alongside the Names Nurse, Named Midwife, Specialist Child Protection Advisors and Safeguarding Paediatric Liaison Practitioners within the team, providing a crucial link between staff at all levels across the Trust and the Safeguarding Children Team.
